Grand Regular is a calligraphic serif with humanist curves and a smooth personality. The project started with calligraphic sketches, which I refined and digitized using RoboFont. The counters of the letters are slightly tilted to create a lively tone. The symmestry and transitional outlines give it a harmonious and grand nature, just like its name. As a high contrast text font, when used in smaller sizes, it ensures its elegance and readability; when used big as a display font, it fully shows its construction and character.
